All the important parameters for the pressing process can be adjusted by means of the program. Pressing pressure and sequence, compression speed and pressure holding time are individually defined in order to achieve the correct properties for the analyses for every individual pressed part.
Access to the program parameters is done exclusively via a password entry system: The primary precondition for the general exclusion of error sources. The technical equipment of the pellet presses guarantees the reproducibility during sample preparation and ensures uniform optimum quality of the pressed pellets made from all types of ground substances. The standard cleaning method for the counter pressure plate on the pressing tool is the use of reciprocally-turning brushes.
As an option the use of a second pressing tool with a counter pressure plate is possible. This permits the assignment of each pressing tool to a particular sample group or a significant increase in the sample throughput. The selection of a pre-sample can also be done within each program.
